The McCandless Child Development Center unveiled new branding on its shuttle bus used to transport children.

The shuttle has been wrapped with the Child Discovery logo and colorful images making it a mobile billboard for its education-focused mission.

The shuttle went into service after its four drivers—Sarah Payne, Becky Mohr, Kelly Simpronio and Jill Paragi—completed driver ed training, conducted by Larry Hayward, Director of Facilities and Support Services.

“The new shuttle provides a good opportunity to promote the Child Discovery Center throughout the North Hills and the Pittsburgh region,” explained Jill Paragi, Senior Director of Child Care Services. “We’re proud of the education students can receive at our centers, and we want to remind area residents about the services we offer to help with their childcare needs no matter what the school year looks like.”

Those services include virtual learning support, before and after school care, and kindergarten wrap around. The Discovery Center is filled with different interest rooms, including an art room, gym, library, homework room, tech room, and more.
