Whether you’re a UPMC Health Plan member or not, all Vincentian employees and spouses have access to online wellness resources that can help you take control of your health. Start today by contacting Joy Regan at jregan@vcs.org to sign up for a Thrive wellness account.
UPMC Health Plan members have access to online resources to help you find a doctor, view your medical claims, and get information about your insurance plan.
1. Register for MyHealth OnLine.
Using this secure member website is an easy way to find a doctor, view your medical claims, and get information about your insurance plan.
The website also has tools to help you estimate the cost of your care and resources to help you stay healthy.
2. Take or update the MyHealth Questionnaire.
Learning about your health can help you lower your risks and spend less on care.
Completing the MyHealth Questionnaire each year will give you a confidential overview of your health. You’ll also receive an action plan to help you reduce your health risks and a list of recommended activities to complete.
You can take the questionnaire on MyHealth OnLine or use the UPMC Health Plan mobile app. You can even save and finish it later!
3. Select or confirm your primary care provider (PCP).
Choosing a PCP or confirming that yours is a participating provider is an important part of managing your health care and saving on health care costs.
A PCP can make sure you are up to date on your preventive care and treat your nonemergency health issues. If you have a chronic or complex health condition, your PCP can direct you to a participating specialist.
If you already have a PCP, you should check to make sure he or she participates in your network.
