Vincentian Marian Manor received an overall 5-Star rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). This is the highest overall rating that can be achieved.

CMS developed the star rating system to provide residents and their families with an easy way to compare skilled nursing facilities that provide the quality of care they desire.

There is one overall rating for each nursing facility and a separate rating for each of these categories: Health Inspections, Staffing, and Quality Measures. Vincentian Marian Manor achieved a 5-star rating in the Quality Measure category, which improved the overall rating from 4 stars to 5.

“I am so proud of the work this team accomplished. To achieve this goal, and especially during the challenges of a pandemic, is a testament to the amazing team we have,” said Administrator Samantha Romito. “This recognition is about our staff’s commitment to caring for our residents’ needs and making sure they feel like they are an important part of our family.”

The CMS five-star rating adds to Vincentian’s recent accolades. Last October, Vincentian Home was named one of the best nursing homes in America and one of the top 20 in Pennsylvania in Newsweek rankings. In July, Vincentian de Marillac received a zero-deficiency rating on the annual survey conducted by the Pennsylvania Department of Health. Vincentian de Marillac has maintained an overall 5-Star rating since 2018.
