Open enrollment season is here! Vincentian’s health insurance benefits are changing. You must elect or waive medical coverage during Open Enrollment if you wish to receive benefits from Vincentian in 2024. Here’s what you need to know.

What’s Changing?

In 2024, Vincentian’s health insurance benefit will be through an Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangement, commonly referred to as an ICHRA plan, administered through our partner Take Command. An ICHRA is a type of account-based healthcare plan that allows employers to reimburse employees for individual health insurance premiums and qualified medical expenses tax free.

Vincentian’s other benefits (Vision, Dental, Life Insurance, etc.) will continue to be offered in a similar way to past years.

Tip: Employees are encouraged to elect coverage as soon as possible as it is expected that Take Command will have a higher call volume toward the end of the open enrollment period.

You can read all about ICHRA plans here.
