Vincentian recognizes that life can be challenging, and sometimes we all need a little extra support. That’s why we are proud to offer a variety of support groups for our employees, their families, and the community.
These groups provide a safe and confidential space to connect with others who are facing similar challenges, share experiences, and learn from one another.
Here’s a look at the groups we currently offer:
- Alzheimer’s & Dementia Caregiver Support Group: Do you care for someone with Alzheimer’s or a related dementia? Seeking support? You’re not alone. Support Groups offer emotional, educational, and social support for family and friends. This group meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm in VLEI Classroom 2-3.
- Care for Family Caregivers Support Group: Caring for a family member can be rewarding, challenging, and emotional. Share experiences, feelings, challenges, ideas, and resources for self-care with a group of peers who understand. This group meets on the third Wednesday of each month from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm in VLEI Classroom 2-3.
- Spousal Loss Grief Support Group: Grief support is crucial for those who have lost a loved one, offering hope and understanding through shared experiences. Our bereavement support group provides a safe space to share and listen, helping individuals navigate their grief after losing a spouse. This group meets on the third Friday of each month from 2:15 pm to 3:45 pm in VLEI Classroom 2-3.
