Now that the weather is warmer, it’s a great time for you to take steps toward better health. Get started by joining UPMC’s Homerun for Health Challenge, which begins May 17. The baseball-themed campaign runs for 9 weeks, or 9 innings. Click here to register by May 24.
For every day you log 10,000-steps on the My Activity Tracker in the UPMC MyHealth Online portal, you earn a home run.
All Activities Count. If you walk, run, swim, lift weights, ride a bike, or enjoy another form of exercise, enter your workouts on the My Activity Tracker and they will be converted to an equivalent number of steps. When you sync your activity tracker (Fitbit, Apple Watch, etc.) your steps will be recorded automatically.
Achieve 30 home runs during the campaign and you’ll receive 50 Thrive for Wellness points. First-, second-, and third-place prizes will be awarded to Vincentian employees who earn the most home runs or take the most steps during the challenge.
